In sealing technology, a basic distinction is made between static and dynamic seal types. Static seals are used between two immobile sealing surfaces and are constantly in contact with the surfaces or sealing surfaces to be sealed. In general, their task is to prevent the ingress and escape of a wide variety of media in their various aggregate states, i.e. gaseous or liquid. This is intended to ensure machine and system availability while at the same time maintaining leakage rates and operational safety.
As a static seal, the flat gasket plays an important role in sealing technology and is used in almost all branches of industry and production processes – both as a container or apparatus seal in various geometries and as a flange seal in piping systems.
We manufacture flat gaskets either according to the material specifications of our customers, according to specifications and approvals or according to individual selection, taking into account the required resistance and the given application parameters such as pressure, medium and temperature.
